Experienced IT project/systems engineer

Do you want to take a leading role in the installation, configuration and deployment of our Airfield Lighting Control & Monitoring Systems across the globe?

If so, we need a Systems Engineer for our many exciting projects.

At Insero Air Traffic Solutions A/S we design, develop and deliver mission critical air traffic solutions that enable digital transformation and support the current and future needs of airports, remote tower centres and Air Navigation Service Providers. This in an industry where safety and reliability come first.

Your tasks
With a base in Horsens, at our Denmark office, your primary tasks as our new Systems Engineer will be to:

  • Perform scrum/project and task planning
  • Design, configure, and deploy software/hardware solutions (incl. UI and system adaptation)
  • Perform system engineering, configuration/adaptation, and testing for ALCMS/Insero RCMS deployments
  • Participate in full project lifecycle from customer clarification to delivery/support
  • Manage and contribute to technical documentation/manuals for projects and proposals
  • Plan and execute installations (system, server/PC, physical) and product maintenance

Your competencies
We expect that you have the following main competencies:

  • Strong IT/system understanding of complex systems (Windows/Linux, databases, network/IP, IT security, hardware/electronics)
  • Some programming experience (C#/.Net) with systems and application focus
  • Structured and analytical mindset with system overview and quality orientation
  • Effective and fluent communication in Danish and English; verbal and written
  • Willingness to learn, travel (up to 50 days/year), and contribute actively in agile setups

It is a mandatory requirement that you are able to obtain a security clearance, i.e. you must have a clean criminal record and you/your household must have resided in a NATO or EU country in the past 7 years.

We also expect that you are a proficient user of Microsoft applications (E.g. PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and preferably also Azure DevOps.

If you have experience with airside airport systems, airfield lighting, and e.g. CCRs/PLCs or experience from other safety critical industries and industrial automation, IoT or similar, it would be an advantage.

Personal qualities
As a person, you are extrovert, curious and open minded, both professionally and personally. You enjoy being part of a team in which dialogue and professional development are key elements, and where collaboration is of the essence when delivering projects. You are fascinated by technology and enjoy learning, exploring, and sharing your knowledge – simply because you cannot help it. Staying up to date with latest developments is natural for you.

You also enjoy contact with customers and partners and do not mind taking on the expert role and expressing your knowledge during customer visits where your experience can make the difference.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment, with many tasks, and where you have a very high level of influence on your own tasks.

We offer you

An opportunity to become part of a skilled, knowledgeable, ambitious and professional team with a strong focus on customers’ current and future needs. Here, you will join a growing organisation within a demanding and everchanging domain which presents many challenges and rich opportunities for development. Our customers are already in various countries and we expect more to be added, which means, you will be working in a highly international environment.

In 2023 we received our first Gazelle award, in recognition of being one of Denmark's fastest growing companies.

In addition, you will become part of a team where close collaboration, innovative solutions, professional pride, and humour are the driving forces. The pace is high, the road to decisions is short, and the dialogue is informal.

We offer flexible working hours, as well as work from home, but do expect that you will be at our office at least 3 days per week when not travelling.

Our employee benefits include company subsidised lunch at a healthy canteen, medical insurance, free fruit, weekly team breakfast and several annual activities. We prioritise providing you with the opportunity to grow and reach your professional and personal ambitions. We value flexibility and work proactively to obtain a healthy work life balance.

You can expect approximately 20 - 50 travel days per year.

We offer a compensation package consisting of a salary based on your qualifications and experience, a company pension scheme and an employee bonus program based on company results.

Our office is located right across the railway station in Horsens in modern facilities at the 14th floor of the new Campus Horsens.
